Smith Distribution, established in 1943 in Asheville, North Carolina, opened a location in Paragould in 2005 and have 5 distribution centers spanning the Northeast to Southeast regions of the United States. The Paragould location is a distribution center for a 13 state area and currently employs 85 people. Smith Distribution gives back to the community through employee driven efforts to work with programs such as Habitat for Humanity, Children’s Home, Backpack Program for local school districts, Make a Wish, and more! In September 2020, Smith Distribution had a local employee become the President of the nationwide organization! Smith Distribution would like to thank their staff who have outperformed expectations throughout the difficult pandemic situation and continue to serve customers, which means customers can continue to serve the community!
