Belk has been with the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce for 15+ years! Belk is a retail store with clothing, shoes, accessories, make-up, cologne/perfumes, and home goods. They also offer services that complement their retail goods such as makeup consultations, suit fittings, and bra fittings. Belk has history back to 1888 when William Henry Belk opened his first store in Monroe, NC, The New York Racket. He enlisted the help of his brother Dr. John Belk and they had immediate success in business. Belk came to Paragould in 1954 and had their opening day at their current location on October 13 1999. There are approximately 34 employed at Belk Paragould. Some of the charitable causes Belk participates in include time/book/food donations for the Children at Paragould Primary for family Fun Night. They also assist non-profits by letting them sell "private sale" tickets. All proceeds from the tickets go to the non-profit selling them! Jenna Keahey became the new store manager at the Paragould location in March this year and looks forward to continuing high quality service at Belk. Belk would like to thank the community for their support! They also appreciate the top quality employees at Belk who make their success possible.
