Block Insurance in Paragould, AR is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team in the personal lines insurance department. The individual must be passionate about working with people in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a pleasant demeanor, professional appearance, and a superior attendance record. The Customer Service Representative will:
• Work closely as a team on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewals
• Communicate with underwriters and carriers regarding claims, service, and billing issues
• Understand your clients’ needs and compare insurance plans to determine the best fit
• Stay current in the industry’s changes and communicate that with your clients
• Prepare all transactions, paperwork, and processing for assigned accounts
• Be responsible for the retention of your assigned book of business
• Identify cross-selling opportunities
• Document conversations with clients and carriers and update agency’s management system accordingly
• Adhere to company’s policy and procedures
• Prepare reports for management upon request
• Maintain continuing education requirement and attend industry related training
Requirements:
• High school diploma, college degree preferred, but not required
• Insurance experience preferred, but not required (Must pass insurance agent license exam)
• Proficient with technology and automated agency management system
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Must possess superior customer service and problem solving skills
