The Customer Service Representative will:

• Work closely as a team on all aspects of client service, marketing, and renewals
• Communicate with underwriters and carriers regarding claims, service, and billing issues
• Understand clients’ needs and compare insurance plans to determine the best fit
• Stay current on industry changes and communicate them with clients
• Prepare all transactions, paperwork, and processing for assigned accounts
• Be responsible for the retention of assigned book of business
• Identify cross-selling opportunities
• Document client and carrier conversations and update the agency management system accordingly
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Prepare reports for management as requested
• Maintain continuing education requirements and attend industry-related training

Requirements:

• High school diploma; college degree preferred but not required
• Insurance experience preferred but not required (must pass insurance agent license exam)
• Proficient with technology and agency management systems
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Superior customer service and problem-solving skills
