The building of a solar plant for the city of Paragould has been a long-term goal of previous Mayor, Mike Gaskill, the EDC Board and the PLWC Commission. The 1.5 MW solar power plant will provide electricity to 203 homes and be an additional resource in recruiting industry to the Paragould area. The site of the plant is at the intersection of Hwy 358 and Hwy 69.
