Paragould's Halloween Weekend Events

Halloween weekend is just around the corner, so we’ve compiled a list of places for you to get your candy fix! If you are planning to go door-to-door trick or treating, the Paragould City Council passed a resolution to move trick or treating to Saturday, October 30th.

Saturday, October 30th:

Downtown Paragould will be having a trick or treating event from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. Downtown businesses will be passing out candy. Get dressed up in your favorite costume and join the fun!

 

When your bags are full of candy there, head to the Paragould Community Center from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Local businesses, organizations, individuals, and churches will be present. The Paragould Community Center is located at 3404 Linwood Drive.

 

If you can’t make it to the Community Center, Central Baptist Church – Paragould Campus is having a Trunk or Treat event at the Greene County Fairgrounds from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The Greene County Fairgrounds is located at 1108 Highway 49B.

 

Grace United is having their annual Hobo Hoedown Trunk or Treat event from 5:00 to 7:30 pm. There will be candy and prizes! Grace United has been doing Hobo Hoedown for over 20 years. They are located at 1410 Highway 135 North.

 

 

West View Baptist Church will have Treats in the Streets from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. They will be passing out candy on several streets in town.

 

Brown's Chapel Baptist Church will be having a Trunk or Treat event complete with food, fun, and fellowship. Their event is from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. They are located at 3800 South Rockingchair Road. 

 

 

Sunday, October 31st:
For those of you that missed out on the 30th, there’s still plenty to do on the 31st!

Start your morning at Southside Community Church for their Candy Palooza from 9:30 to 10:45 am. There will be candy and prizes! They are located at 2211 Jones Road. 

 

After lunch and a quick nap, head to Paragould First United Methodist Church. They are having their annual Trunk or Treat in the church parking lot from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. They will have lots of trunks which means lots of candy! They are located at 404 West Main Street.

 

Harvest Baptist Church will be having a Harvest Festival from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. There will be funnel cakes, kettle corn, popcorn, cotton candy, carnival games, inflatable bounces and slide, Tricky the Clown, antique vehicles, live animals, hayrides, train rides, and lots of candy! They are located at 4100 Linwood Drive. 

 

Redeemer Lutheran will be having a Trunk or Treat event from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. They will have candy, popcorn, and cocoa! They are located at 829 West Kingshighway. 

Finally, to wrap up your Halloween evening, head to 7th & Mueller Church of Christ. They will be having Trunk or Treat from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in their parking lot. They are located at 1000 South 7th Street.
