Member Spotlight - KASU
KASU has been a member of the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce for 15 years!
The radio station provides public broadcasting for parts of Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennesee. It has been serving the listening area since 1957 before becoming a charter member of NPR. KASU offers local content featuring the area's music, news, arts, and views. You can tune in at 91.9FM or listen on their mobile app.
The 100,000W station sponsors music events all over NEA. In Paragould, KASU sponsors the monthly Bluegrass Monday at the Collins Theatre. Other events include Walnut Ridge's Beatles at the Ridge, Jonesboro's Local Fest, and Newport's Monster Nights.
Station Manager Mark Smith says that KASU is looking for more programming that focuses on local news and information. He also wants the public to know that station is always looking to partner with organizations in their efforts to better serve the Delta.
