Anchor Packaging has been a member of the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce for 15+ years! Anchor Packaging is a leading manufacturer of rigid containers and all-purpose cling film for the foodservice industry. Anchor began operation in 1963 as a converter of plastic film, eventually constructing a plant in Marmaduke in 1985. Soon after, the Paragould plant was constructed and has expanded several times since to their current 310,000 sq. ft. of facilities. There are currently four Anchor Packaging locations in NE Arkansas. Anchor Packaging employs over 970 employees. Anchor Packaging is actively involved with the community including events over the past year such as a food drive to fill backpacks, a drive to collect winter items for those in need, and a toy drive. Their employee community outreach also included providing meals at the Paragould Mission Outreach and the Jonesboro HUB. In 2019, Anchor also purchased a new piece of rescue equipment for donation to the Paragould Fire Department, the Arizona Vortex High Directional System. Anchor Packaging has made plans for accelerated growth in the immediate future. Anchor is expanding with a broadening geographic reach through additional manufacturing facilities, new and complementary product lines to better serve its customers, and a broader set of solutions to offer to customers.
