Martin Sprocket & Gear has been with the Chamber for 15+ years! The Paragould Plant has three primary processes: plastic injection molding, CNC machining, and sintered metal. The Paragould facility is the only one to produce sintered metal products. The steel parts range in size from ¼ inch to 7 ½ inches in diameter. The parts made at the Paragould location have a multitude of uses in agriculture, automotive, and general manufacturing. Martin products keep industry running. Originally founded in 1951 by Joe Martin Sr., the Paragould plant opened in 1966. The Paragould facility now employs over 200 people across 3 shifts. There are 31 facilities in the United States, 3 in Canada, 3 in Mexico, 1 in Brazil, and 6 in The People's Republic of China. The Martin's Paragould facility is steadily growing and is currently recruiting. Martin is recognized for few layoffs and is an employer people can count on. Their philosophy is simple, "Make a quality product, have plenty of it available, and be easy to do business with."
