Paragould St. Bernards Chamber Sponsorship in front of the Chamber office

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

The Paragould Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that proceeds have been donated to support the completion of its new office headquarters in the historic Kimbrough Building in Downtown Paragould. Nearing completion, the nearly 10,000 square-foot rehabilitated space represents both a major investment in the community’s future and the preservation of one of its most treasured landmarks.

The Kimbrough Building, constructed over a century ago, stood vacant for nearly 30 years before its transformation began. Originally home to Kimbrough’s Dry Goods Store until 1960, the building once served as a central hub for the region. An excerpt from the Greene County Genealogical and Historical Society recalls: “Families came from all over Northeast Arkansas to do business at Kimbrough's Dry Goods. The store became a cornerstone of the business community.”

More than 100 years later, the Chamber is proud to reestablish this landmark as the cornerstone of the Paragould business community once again. With more than 700 Chamber members, this building will serve as a home for business growth, collaboration, and innovation. The facility will feature three meeting spaces available for members, designed to foster connectivity and community engagement.

“This project is about more than just an office—it’s about honoring our past while investing in our future. The Kimbrough Building is a reminder of where we’ve been, and the Chamber’s new home will ensure we have a place to gather, grow, and lead Paragould forward.” said Amy Adams, Chamber Chair.

“This new office belongs to the entire business community. With over 700 members, we are building more than walls and meeting spaces—we are building opportunities, connections, and the foundation for the next generation of business leadership in Paragould.” said Allison Hestand, Chamber CEO.

Today we are proud to announce our first donor in the building project, St. Bernards Healthcare with a $100,000 pledge and naming rights to the Pinnacle Board Room.

Laura Pickens, St. Bernards Healthcare Vice President for Marketing & Public Relations —

The Paragould Chamber of Commerce extends its gratitude to all sponsors and donors who have made this project possible. Together, this investment ensures that the Paragould Chamber continues to thrive as the heart of the community.
