On Friday, October 25th from 6:30PM to 8:30PM, Crowley's Ridge State Park will once again be the go-to destination for Halloween fun with Ghosts, Legends, and the Unexplained. The event will feature a free trail of treats on Lake Ponder Trail with candy, carnival-style games, kid's crafts, Halloween crafts, and coloring activities, and much more. Lake Ponder trail will turn into our Trail of Treats and it is stroller and handicapped accessible, so bring the whole family. The famous hayride through the haunted forest is sture to give you an ex-fear-ience you will never forget! The hayride will cost $5.00 for ages 6 and above. the hayride will feature the ever-popular zombies as well as ghostly visitors from the past. Sharp-eyed visitors might even spot the Wildman of Crowley's Ridge lurking around on this night. All attendees are encouraged to bring a flashlight and a bag for candy. Concessions and souvenirs will be available for purchase at the event. The event is cash only- checks and credit cards will not be accepted. Ticket sales for the kid's crafts and haunted hayride, as well as thetrail of treats will end at 8:30PM. Hayrides will continue until the last person is through the line. Please remember this when planning your evening. Parking for the event will be in the open field near Walcott Lake.
New to the event this year is a Zombie Jam at the Amphitheater. Sand Creek, a group of students from the 4H performing arts council, will be putting on a live performance you won't want to miss!
